John Carmichael Senior is a true entrepreneur, starting Hammett Packaging Incorporated in 1975. He developed a technology that is still used today all over the United States. John’s Thermal Transport System was created from a need to transport cold and hot foods safely and efficiently. It was a challenge, but with a 100 unit order in hand, he went to work. By 1980, the Hammett Thermal Transport System became an established product of Hammett Packaging Inc. that has been enjoyed by Meals on Wheels, school districts, restaurants, and catering companies for more than 35 years. Mr. Carmichael has been asked if he would make a personal carrier that people can take to parties, and keep their food chilled or hot.
We introduce you to the J. Carmichael Tote.
